Policy overview
Website: https://www.instablick.com
This Privacy Policy explains how InstaBlick, LLC, a Delaware limited liability company (“InstaBlick,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), collects, uses, discloses, retains, and protects personal information in connection with the services described below.
This Privacy Policy does not itself create contractual rights beyond those required by applicable law. It should be read together with our Terms of Use, any product-specific notice, order form, Data Processing Addendum, and other terms that apply to the service you use.
This policy is intended for adults. Our services are not directed to anyone under 18 years of age.
Scope of this version
This version applies to a public marketing website that provides a server-side project-inquiry form. The website does not offer user accounts, AI prompts, file uploads, subscriptions, online payments, newsletter signup, or a public API.
When you submit the project-inquiry form, the website receives your name, work email address, project interest, message, and basic security and source information and transmits the inquiry to InstaBlick using an email-delivery provider. We do not intentionally store inquiry contents in a website application database, but the information may be retained in our email systems, the provider's delivery records, and limited security or diagnostic logs.
If accounts, AI inputs, uploads, subscriptions, online payments, newsletters, or a public API are introduced, we will publish the corresponding expanded privacy notice before the relevant feature launches.
Information we collect
The website processes limited technical and inquiry information needed to deliver and protect the site and respond to prospective business contacts.
| Category | Examples | Source |
|---|---|---|
| Network and device information | IP address, browser type, device type, operating system, language, approximate region derived from IP, and request timestamps | Collected automatically when you access the website |
| Usage information | Pages viewed, referring page, basic interaction and performance data | Collected automatically or through privacy-focused analytics if enabled |
| Security information | Request headers, rate-limit events, bot and abuse signals, and diagnostic logs | Collected by InstaBlick and security or hosting providers |
| Communications | Name, work email address, project interest, message, and other information you choose to include in a website inquiry or direct communication | Provided by you through the project-inquiry form or by email |
How we use information
- Deliver, maintain, and display the website.
- Protect the website, visitors, and our systems from fraud, abuse, malicious traffic, and security threats.
- Understand aggregate website performance and content usage.
- Receive, route, respond to, and manage project inquiries and other communications you send to us.
- Comply with law and establish, exercise, or defend legal claims.
How we disclose personal information
We may disclose personal information to the following categories of recipients for the purposes described in this policy:
- Service providers and subprocessors that provide hosting, content delivery, security, storage, email, analytics if enabled, error monitoring, customer support, and other operational services under contractual restrictions.
- Professional advisers, such as lawyers, auditors, accountants, insurers, and consultants, where reasonably necessary.
- Government authorities, courts, regulators, or other parties when we believe disclosure is required by law or reasonably necessary to protect rights, safety, security, and the integrity of our services.
- A buyer, investor, lender, or successor in connection with a merger, financing, acquisition, restructuring, bankruptcy, or sale of all or part of our business, subject to appropriate confidentiality protections where practical.
- Other parties at your direction, with your consent, or as disclosed when you provide the information.
We do not sell personal information. We do not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. We do not use third-party advertising pixels at launch.
Retention
Website and security logs are generally retained for up to 12 months, although some service-provider logs may be retained for shorter periods. Project inquiries and direct communications are generally retained for up to three years after the matter is closed, unless a longer period is needed for legal, security, or business reasons.
Security
We use administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information. Depending on the service and risk, these measures may include encryption in transit, encryption at rest, role-based access controls, multifactor authentication for privileged access, logging and monitoring, backups, vulnerability management, vendor security review, data minimization, and incident-response procedures.
No method of transmission or storage is completely secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security, and you are responsible for protecting your devices and the email account you use to communicate with us.
International data transfers
InstaBlick is based in the United States and may process information in the United States and other countries where we or our service providers operate. Those countries may have data protection laws different from the laws where you live.
Where required, we use recognized transfer mechanisms and contractual safeguards, such as adequacy decisions, the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses, the United Kingdom International Data Transfer Addendum or Agreement, or other legally permitted mechanisms.
Your privacy rights and choices
Depending on where you live and the nature of our relationship with you, you may have rights to request access to, correction of, deletion of, or a portable copy of your personal information; to restrict or object to certain processing; to withdraw consent; and to complain to a privacy or data protection authority. These rights may be subject to legal exceptions.
- Access and portability. Request confirmation of whether we process your personal information and, where applicable, obtain a copy in a commonly used format.
- Correction. Ask us to correct inaccurate or incomplete personal information.
- Deletion. Ask us to delete personal information, subject to exceptions such as security, fraud prevention, legal compliance, billing, and the establishment or defense of legal claims.
- Restriction or objection. Ask us to restrict processing or object to processing based on legitimate interests, where applicable.
- Withdraw consent. Where processing is based on consent, withdraw it prospectively at any time. Withdrawal does not affect processing that was lawful before withdrawal.
- Marketing choices. Unsubscribe using the link in a marketing message or contact us at the privacy email below. We may retain a limited suppression record so that we do not contact you again by mistake.
We do not discriminate against individuals for exercising rights provided by applicable privacy law.
California and other U.S. state residents
To the extent a U.S. state privacy law applies to us, residents may have additional rights, including rights to know categories and specific pieces of personal information, correct, delete, opt out of sale or targeted or cross-context behavioral advertising, limit certain uses of sensitive personal information, and appeal a denied request. We do not sell personal information and do not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.
Because we do not sell personal information or use it for cross-context behavioral advertising, an opt-out request should not be necessary for those activities. We nevertheless recognize legally binding browser-based opt-out signals, such as Global Privacy Control, where required by applicable law.
EEA, United Kingdom, and Switzerland
Where European data protection law applies, our legal bases may include performance of a contract, steps requested before entering a contract, compliance with legal obligations, our legitimate interests, and consent. Our legitimate interests may include securing and operating our services, preventing fraud and abuse, improving reliability, responding to requests, and conducting ordinary business administration, provided those interests are not overridden by your rights and interests.
You may lodge a complaint with the data protection authority in the country where you live or work or where you believe a violation occurred. If we intentionally offer services in a jurisdiction that requires a local representative, we will identify the representative in a regional notice before the relevant launch.
Age restriction
The services are intended only for individuals who are at least 18 years old. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If we learn that an individual under 18 has provided personal information, we will take reasonable steps to delete it.
Third-party services and links
Our services may link to third-party websites, applications, or services. Their privacy practices are governed by their own notices, not this policy. We encourage you to review those notices before providing personal information.
Changes to this Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes in our services, practices, or legal obligations. We will revise the “Last Updated” date and provide additional notice of material changes where required, such as by email or a prominent notice on the website.
